...My lovely wife has collapsed/fainted/fallen down twice in the past 36 hours. Should I take her back to the hospital?

God you can deal with later.  Take her to the hospital, the psychiatrist, and arrange a CAT scan.  These are precautionary measures to ascertain the source of these faints.

Keep her safe, then deal with God.  I'm sure he won't mind waiting a few days or weeks - he HAS been around for a while.
