  1. I think the country is definitely ready for a woman.  A qualified woman.  Not a token.  He did not gve women much credit - did he?

  2. Back in Lincoln's day, there's no way a woman could have been chosen for VP. Of course, back in those days, there's no chance a Catholic like Biden could have been chosen either.

  3. If you are talking about McCain's VP choice. I don't think anyone could have at the time of their Presidency. The timing was not right then no matter who you think The Greatest Republican President was. But surprisingly enough I think McCain made the right choice for the time we live in. I think the country could be ready for this concept. McCain is playing smart. Talk about "CHANGE" and "HOPE". I think he might have an even better shot at The White House now. At least that's my HOPE.

  4. Abe Lincoln?  No, he only had ONE house.

  5. I find it humorous that so many would instantly think that Lincoln was the greatest republican president ever

Everything that the libs say about Bush was truthfully said about Lincoln

Every suspension of constitutional law that has been credited to Bush he would have learned from Lincoln

Booth did not shoot Lincoln because he was a loyal southerner he did it because he was a loyal American shooting her first dictator

And no Reagan couldn't have chosen a woman VP even if he had wanted to

Such a decision would have taken party approval and perfect timing

  6. Pick a woman V.P.? I don't think Abe would even think it possible.
