Serious Question: Odds of having Twins

Question

i'm 3 months pregnant.

and my boyfriend and i would really like to have twins.

i want to know what the chances are of us having twins if we've had them in both of our families.

i have twin aunts, cousins, and my brother was supposed to have a twin.

and he has twin sisters.

i'm just curious

Well, seeing as twins run in your family, you have a higher chance of being pregnant with multiples. Anyway (and Jessica, you got your stats wrong)...

1 out of 80 births are fraternal twins

1 out of 250 births are identical twins

But these numbers could go down to for example, 40 and 125, since twins do run in your family. =]

Well it has alot to do with genetics but results are not always offical it sounds like you have a very good chance but i myself have blonde hair while everyone else in my family besides my uncle has brown or black hair.
