Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knows any sleeping aids or anything? I havent slept for a full two nights in a row, due to a lot going on in my life, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Preferably not pills, coz I'm afraid (to be honest) I might take too much.

  1. earplugs help a lot for me....also when i cant fall asleep i try to shut out thoughts by looking for shapes and pictures in my closed eyelids.... yeah it sounds nutty but it works for me- everytime. just close your eyes and wait for the images to show.. youll be asleep in no time... but the main key is to shut down the thoughts. Picture!................ dont think!....


  2. a nice hot relaxing bath, a cup of warm milk, a cup of cocoa or chamomile tea... write down your thought before you turn in it will allow your mind to push them aside.. count sheep, a shot of brandy, honey and lemon (a hot tottie) good luck honey  

  3. Jason I use Advil PM You only need two of them,at a time and you should make sure you have at least eight hours to sleep.The one thing I like about them there not addictive,and they work better than tylenol pills.

  4. are you an adult as in over 18? i tried to check your profile but couldn't find your age it was blocked. My friend had bad insomnia and used to smoke pot to get to sleep. It worked very well. I am a marijuana advocate though, i know theres lots of people who have been brainwashed to believe it is evil but they probably have not done any research of their own. You cant overdose on pot like you can on pills.Just don't smoke it in the day.    

  5. drink hot milk,read harry potter (it makes your mind work and its very relaxing).

    go for a walk ot exercise one hour before going to bed,also stop drinking caffeine and listen music.try to listen enya before sleep

  6. try to be really active during the day, get up and do something/anything...if you are laying around all day you won't be very tired at night.

  7. Could be poor diet, stress, don't eat so late at nite and learn to relax your mind and body and get a massage perhaps relieves tension and pray to stay focus then hopefully you get a good nites rest im no professional but i know these things helped me. good luck to you.

  9. -what i do sometimes is eat,drink a hot cup of dec.tea,take a warm bath or shower then go to bed a read a book.  Sometimes if that don't work I take Tylanol p.m. or something like that.

  11. Well, for going to sleep the best thing is make sure you're in a quiet environment and try to get to sleep for 20 minutes. If that fails, then read a book until you want to try again. Then continue this. Also, if you haven't slept for two nights you should be extremely tired and it's very unhealthy for you so some sleep medicines can come in a liquid form not pills. Go to your local chemist/pharmacy and ask someone there or go see your doctor.
