Did you intitially believe it to be one or did it take time to process the experience to come to your conclusion?

I've had a few, but the freakiest one to me was this past September 2007.

My sister and her husband, and my and my boyfriend went to St. Augustine, which is supposedly really haunted.

Well, we went into a castle (which is now Ripley's believe it or not) at night on a tour, and the tour guide told us, at the very beginning of the tour, that there had been several reports of a spirit that was mischievous that lurked in the castle.  She said that it supposedly preyed on young women and it liked to come up behind them and push them in the back.

Well, I am 18 (so I guess thats a "young woman") and in the 2nd to last room we were in, the tour guide was talking to us, and suddenly, I couldn't hear anything, like my hearing went all muted, and I felt kind of dizzy.  Then, I got this feeling like something was pressing into the backs of my knees (like they wanted me to loose my balance and fall)  and I was teetering, and I had to try really hard not to fall to the floor.  I turned to my sister, who was standing a few feet behind me, and told her to take a picture of me (since you can usually see spirits/paranormal activity on camera more than with the bare eye) and when we looked at the picture that she took, half of me is completely see-through, and there is an "orb" on my backside.  Also, in the picture, my boyfriend is holding onto my elbow (which I never felt) and I asked him why he did that, and he said because I looked like I was going to faint and that I went ghostly pale (ignore the pun).

It was really creepy because I know it wasn't just a weird feeling.  I know that it was something paranormal, and it freaks me out to this day.

ive had a fair few.  i can sense the presence of ghosts and spirits, and have been known to predict things VERY accurately before they happen.  ive also had experiences where i think i hear someone calling my name so i go to them and ask what they wanted but then it turns out they werent calling my name, but just thinking about me...

  when i was younger, i just took it as coincidence, but as i learned more, i started realizing what was going on and what i was doing.  it used to scare the c**p out of me but now i kinda just live with it the same way other people live with whatever talents or skills they have.  no one else in my family seems to have it (im adopted) so im guessing i got it from one of my birth parents.

I've been dealing with them all my life, so there was really no processing going on.  It was and is just a simple fact of existence.  Though it did take me a long time (12 years) to reach the conclusion that what I could see was something that no one around me or in my family could.  But I live with it pretty well, there are some rough spots but I always get through them.

The women on my mother's side of the family have a psychic streak, which I inherited. It cannot be controlled at will, it just happens, and it no longer seems creepy because I have learned to recognize the feeling. One time my sister introduced me to a friend from school and as soon as I shook his hand I got this overwhelming feeling of disgust. I spent the rest of the afternoon rubbing my hand on my clothes, trying to clean it. The sensation was like wearing a glove of slime. It did not wear off until the next day and I told my sister about it. I told her I did not like that person, there was something absolutely rotten about him and he did not inspire any trust at all. Needless to say, six months later he was arrested for selling bogus satellite dish signals, in addition to other criminal activities.

Another time I called my sister on the West coast because I had been unable to sleep all night, so I just wanted to know if she was ok. I sleep like a log, so this was very unusual, it felt like I couldn't quite put my finger on some message that was trying to get through. My sister answered my call, and was sleepy as h**l, she said she was ok, so I hung up and went about my business as usual. Next morning my mom told me she had called in late and told her about her fiancee who was severely burned during a weekend out with some friends, and was currently in icu. The one question she had for me was, How did I know about it? I had no answer.

My mom had been feeling very uneasy for days, she said she had dreams of a red horizon and dogs barking like crazy. One morning a few days later we woke up to the news that a Killer Quake had hit Nicaragua, where some of her relatives lived. Dad went to wake her up and when he did there were tears in her eyes. Dad held up the radio so she could listen to the news and she said she already knew what had happened.

That was so creepy. Survivors later told us that on the eve of the quake, the sunset has been a fiery red and hours before the quake hit, dogs, cats, birds and all kinds of animals had been restless or howling all over the city.

Mom sometimes absolutely refused to let us go to school on a certain day unless my dad took an entirely different route from the one we normally took to get there. She claimed she had had a dream where we were involved in a horrible accident, so she was trying to keep us safe. My father was not a believer, but he sometimes humored her. He never did share with us what he really thought of that.

One time we moved to another house and we lived there for seven years, although we begged our dad to move because there was a lot of ghostly activity going on. We lost two dogs to sheer fright, they just died, it was creepy and my mom was not comfortable there and neither was I. We heard and saw strange things, there was moderate poltergeist activity and relatives who stayed over sometimes commented about strange things that went bump in the night during their stay. We did find out about the history of the house and its occupants, and we realized there was a reason for all this activity. The house was turned into an office for a few years but there were reports of strange things going on there, and it was torn down a few years ago and turned into a parking lot. To this day I absolutely refuse to park there because I have this inane conviction that the ghost is still there, bound to that piece of land, and that if I do, the ghost will recognize me and follow me home. Some people might laugh at this, but I went through it and would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.

I am happy to report the incidents have been greatly reduced and I am no longer plagued by them. It is better not to know when something bad is about to happen, to you or anyone you know, especially when they do not always happen.

Several really, I wouldn't even know where to begin but they've generally been pretty small scale.  A feeling, dreams, etc.  Most notably I suppose, was after a friend that I have known almost all my life went missing.  Nobody has seen or heard from her in a year.  

I had a dream about her death.  The general look of the area she was hidden, what the guy who killed her looks like, the vehicle, things of that nature....  The annoying thing is, I don't have a good enough idea of where SPECIFICALLY she is at.  So, my turn for a question..... how much would use would any of my information be to police...because one year later she's still gone with no trace....

Yes, several times. A demon appeared in the back seat of my car late one night. He was a black shadow, horribly evil. I stopped my car in the middle of the road and got out. This happened twice.

yes, I grew up having night attacks by demons and such. One day I had a seriously scary attack by a succubus and looked it up on the internet, which led me to a website about sleep paralysis.

What I found out (to put it simply) is that my body doesnt produce as much of the chemicles needed for sleep transitions that other peoples bodies produce. Thus I have a tendency to frequently mess up the order in which I fall asleep or wake up.

I can't give you exact numbers and I am not sure anyone can, but sleep paralysis episodes account for a very large percentage of paranormal activity throughout history.

This includes alien abduction cases, succubus and incubus attacks, out of body experiences, and a lot more.

First off, I am an amateur paranormal investigator/paranormal warrior. I've got a gift for detecting and interacting with the spirit world... always have.. most recently however was a few weeks ago when my friend was hangin at my place... we were messing around with some stuff we probably shouldnt have been (wiccan spells and High Magick) anyway, in doing this we opened a gateway in my basement and it just so happens that when a door is open, something usually steps through it.  so that night we met Nefandus.  Nefandus is the name of the demon we invited into my house that night, not realizing what we had done.  well I noticed it first, then shortly after i noticed it my friend noticed it too... anyway, i tried to leave the room to get my Bible and a crucifix as well as my staff which i've consecrated so that i could get rid of this thing... when i left the room, my lungs froze up, my skin went cold, and i couldn't move very well.  i had to go back into that room before i could breathe again well, eventually we got rid of the spirit and i havent had an invisible visitor since.  i have lots more stories like this one as well.

I have only seen an actual ghost a few times in my life. but once my husband was taking me to show me where he used to take care of an old man in Barboursville wv where the old brick yard used to be. when he turned up the road, my hair on my arms and neck stood on end, I got chills all over and was filled to the rim with pure fear. I told him I want to leave the area, he asked me why, I told him it was just evil there and I didn't want to be there. then he proceeded to tell me about the old man he took care of and how evil that man had been in his days. another time we were passing by a place on old Rt. 60 in Milton it was a blue building on the right hand side of the road headed east and I just felt an evil presence. It scared me badly. but I never felt that again or before that time while passing the same place.

Last year The week before my sister passed away I was watching TV with my partner when I became uncontrollably emotional. She asked what was wrong I explained I had one of them feelings again this one was that my sister was going to die. I phoned her up and told her how special she was to me, how much I loved her. Everything you would say to someone but wished you could of said before they passed not after. I never explained to her why I was calling I just said she needed to know how I felt. The weekend following my call she came down to visit. I never saw her that weekend she was a little upset and couldn't work out why I said all them things yet never wanted to see her. I told her it doesn't matter that I never saw her as I love her and besides she knows what I look like. My partner also asked my why I never went to see her after how upset I was. I explained I couldn't bring myself to as I didn't want to look at her. I have no regrets for not seeing her that weekend because I feel my last words to her wouldn't have the same meaning to me also my last memory of her was filled with love(don't know if you understand that).  She passed away suddenly on 5th July  07 four days before her 41st birthday of blood poisoning. I miss the sound of her laughter.

Yes, I have had many psychic experiences. When I was younger it was difficult to understand why i was "different". I am older now and have come to an acceptance of where I am in life. It is not something I can control----it  happens at random times and I have no choice over the topic. I can't pick lottery numbers etc. It isn't a choice to have psychic things happen. I have learned to interpret things better over the years....which has helped immensely.

I have seen the future almost once every week and when it first started happening (when i was 7) i was scared and thought i might end up seeing my death. Now i notice that all of my sights have been small paranormal expeirience.

Britain is said to be the most haunted country in the world, and this happened in Kent, in the south of England and which is known as the garden of England, and where a lot of paranormal sightings have been seen, well now to get to the story.

Because Joyce and I could never get away on holiday, I bought a 32ft static caravan in Kent, on a lovely site where there were no more than about 26 caravans, and we used to go down to it on Saturday evening till Monday morning.

The van was sited on its own on a very large corner plot of land, and very near to an old oak tree, and was shielded by quite a large boundary hedge at the end of the caravan.

Well this weekend I had taken 6 rose bushes to plant in front of this boundary hedge, and being a very early riser and leaving Joyce asleep in bed, I went outside at 6.45am to a very thick misty morning.

I knelt down on the ground and began to plant the rose bushes, and when I was half way through, something made me stop and look up, and what I saw made me stare in amazement!

Because standing there surrounded by this thick mist! Was the vision of a young women smiling at me. She had long brown hair, and was dressed in a blue heavily embroidered ankle length coat, with a red button up collar and red v.shape double cuffs at the end of the sleeves.

Being very early in the season there was only about 4 caravans being occupied this weekend and being early in the morning, there was no one around. I had not heard any sound of anyone coming towards me, and yet here in front of me was this pretty girl dressed in clothes that dated back to the 16th-18th century.

Now for some unknown reason I could not talk and everywhere was silent, and all I could do, was to stare in disbelieve of what I was seeing.

I cannot remember for how long I just stared at her, but something compelled me to lower my head to the ground and to carry on with what I was doing.

A minute had passed before I looked up, and what ever I had seen was gone.  

I stopped what I was doing, had a good look around but could see nothing, so I went straight back into the caravan, woke Joyce up, and said to her, that what I am now going to tell you: Your not going to believe!

Once she was up, I showed her where it had happened, but Joyce is not a real believer in this sort of thing, and probably dismissed it from her mind there and then.

I've experienced both all throughout my life.  I've had my dead grandmother come visit me when I was born and she'd rock my cradle and sing to me.  I've talked with dead people and animals who visit me from time to time and when I choose to ignore them, they get mad and do all sorts of things like slam doors, throw dishes, blow electronics and even shove me around.  I've also had many premonitions and then it would come true.  One time I took out a photo of a close friend out of a photo album for no special reason and put into a photo frame and placed in on my nightstand and then a week later, she was dead at a young age of 6.   It took time for me to process the death with the photo incident.   I've also experienced psychometry whereby I'd hold an object belonging to someone else and pick up images and feelings about them.  I've slipped into different dimensions from time to time without intention or effort, sometimes into better times and other times not and time travel into the past.

im 15 and its not really obvious now but i say/do things at the same time as people for example yesterday i went on msn to show my friend this picture of zac efron cos she really likes him but my other friend showed me the exactly the same picture as soon as i came online also today i got really frustrated with my math teacher and then my school and the local area got a power cut (electrokinesis) and when i ask my friends to think of numbers my second instinct is always right same with multiple choice questions, there's been other things too but it doesnt make sense to me it could just be coincidental

I've had quite a few in my lifetime - so many when I was younger that my ex-husband truly believed me to be a witch, which really helped when it came time to divorce him!  But, seriously, I have had many - it's just a feeling I get, soemtimes it's a dream (or I think it's a dream).  There really are too many to mention here.
