Serious answers only. I have been on the contreceptive pill for over two years. First one was microgynon 30, came of it because of a lack of libido, and bad moods. Second one was cilest, came of it for same reasons. And now im on Marvelon. It seems to be ok, in this first month. I feel more aroused alot and feel as if my s*x drive has returned, i just want to know whether it is possible that my libido has returned because this pill suits me? Im not complaining, i am very happy to have my s*x drive back again, just wondering why

Sure. People are really sensitive and different about reactions to drugs. It sounds like you found a keeper.

While im not familiar with the pills you are taking i can tell you from my personal experience that the higher hormone level in birth control the lower your s*x drive will be and the moodier you will get.

I was on the depo provera shot for 7 years and my s*x drive had decreased to almost nothing! i then changed to the non-hormonal IUD and my s*x drive came back overnight! i want it all the time now! I was sooo excited!

The first thing you need to do is figure out why your s*x drive is low and try to help get it back.  I was in your situation and it's not fun without being horny and feeling in the mood when needed.  I also felt like my orgasms (if I would even get one) were really weak.  Probably because of my s*x drive.

Yeah it's probably just that this pill for you doesn't have as many side effects, loss of libido etc.
