Serious budgerigar question?

Let me explain. I have had my male budgie for about 1 whole year now. Everything was fine at first, he would always want to come out of his cage and play around and stuff but sadly it seems like that has changed. Everytime I put my hand in his cage to try and get him out and hold him he grabs onto one of the bars of his cage with his beak and will not let go. He NEVER used to do that! The only time he will actually get out he does on his own when i hook his door so it stays up and open. He then will climb to the top and just stand there and chirp. If i try and hold him he will try to run to the other side and if I hold him and/or take him to the other side of the room he will constantly try get right back to his cage by flying straight back over there. He never did that either. He would actually stand in his doorway and fly over to me or my shoulder and we would play or whatever. Now it just seems like he doesn't want to have anything to do with me and he wants to stay cooped up in his

hes lonley and when you left him there in the cage he was icealated and learned to be that way so sorry bud you kinda brain washed your pet
