I have read a lot that benzodiazepine overdose is rarely fatal. I don't understand why that is. If a person ingests 300mg of temazepam, 20 mg of clonazepam, 750mg of tegretol and Mixes that with alcohol, I can not imagine that would not be fatal?? am I wrong?

  1. This would be a good question for all of the great musicians and entertainers that have passed from O.D.

  2. i'd not put money on survival without medical intervention, but if you are thinking of doing this please don't.

  3. i think all drugs are wrong and should not be used unless its a inhaler... wich i need badly.

  4. I agree it would be fatal.Either the part of the brain that controls breathing would cease to function or the person would vomit and aspirate the contents and choke to death.

Overdosage of temazepam results in increasing CNS effects, including:

    Somnolence (difficulty staying awake)

    Mental confusion

    Respiratory depression

    Hypotension

    Impaired motor functions

    Impaired or absent reflexes

    Impaired coordination

    Impaired balance

    Dizziness

    Coma

    Death

  5. Sleepy, not fatal.
