I have read a lot that benzodiazepine overdose is rarely fatal. I don't understand why that is. If a person ingests 300mg of temazepam, 20 mg of clonazepam, 750mg of tegretol and Mixes that with alcohol, I can not imagine that would not be fatal?? am I wrong?

  1. Are you taking all these medications I am just trying to find a reason for your question nobody should be taking 300mg of temazepam

  2. You need to read the interactions on each of the pill bottles. You can also go to the following websites that tell you about interactions about various drugs.  Usually it is not a good idea to take alcohol with medications.  Sunlight also has a big impact on a lot of the drugs that you take, and it is a good idea to wear suntan lotion when you take medications that could interact with the drugs as well.
