  1. If he sent it back, you should return his money.  If he didn't have permission to send it back, you don't have to refund his shipping cost.

He will file a PayPal complaint if you keep his money and the camera.

As a seller, you probably don't want that to happen.

  2. It might be tempting to keep the money.  Be careful it might come back and make trouble for you.  Send a email that you received it and just state any further if he wants further input  from you.  Maybe he just forgot to ask for a refund.

  3. yeah, he just gave you a free camera enjoy!

  4. Are you sure the buyer received the item and send it back or did the post office attempt to deliver it and couldn't so they sent it back to you. I would contact the buyer and find out whats going on. I don't see someone buying anything, sending it back and not want a refund.

  5. I had a similar situation with a computer that I sold on ebay. The buyer sent the item back but would not communicate with me nor did he ask for his money back.

Since keeping the computer would be fraud (becuase the buyer paid for it and "agreed" to recieve the item from me, I had no choice but to ship it back to him again with explicit instructions that he should keep it this time because I would not take it back.

I would suggest you do the same in this case, or refund that person's money.

  6. that seems fishie you should contact the buyer and see whats going on i have been a ebayer for years trust me on this one hope that helps

  7. i would email him and tell him if he wants his money back , he has to reply within X amount time.

  8. haha...he might confused as to how the refund system works. You should email him or request buyer information on ebay and get his phone number and call him.

He probably thinks the refund/exchange system works as it does in most stores,he sends the item and YOU credit the money.he's wrong though.

  9. I believe you should refund his money. He'll expect a refund at some time. I can see what you're thinking though and I'd be tempted myself to let it be too. I sell and buy quite a bit though (baseball/football cards). He still may be waiting for you to make the move.

Tell you what, give it another week and see what happens.

It's strange, did he send an email or anything like that?

Just don't put it up for resale for a while at the very least, that could instill a fire in him

But if it were me, I'd refund the money irregardless.

  10. Mia2K - no the seller can't leave feedback negatively.. but you can RESPOND to the negative feedback given and defend yourself... it's under the Site Map and you click "reply to feedback received.."

Worked for me on one that was not warranted.
