  1. Part of the problem may be because your very nervous. Do you keep a journal to write about your thoughts and memmories? This is a great way to recall the past. Its also good to keep a journal of your dreams. Try some deep breathing exercises to help slow down your mind.

  2. Maybe the reason why you cant remember is because you are nervous about sharing what is causing the crying. You need to relax and remember that the councilor is there to help. Maybe it would help to write in a journal about why you feel sad. The you dont have to remember when you meet with your councilor. i hope that everything works out for you and that you feel better : )

  3. nerves? stress? depression? if you have to make a list. and put stuff under topics

  4. That's great you're going to counseling!

Instead of thinking ahead of time what to say and do, how about you just go, relax, and talk about the most current issue you're having trouble with?

  5. the body has a way of protecting itself from trauma. you will block things out to keep from hurting yourself. i grew up in an abusive household and my sister was abusive to me and there are points in my life that i cant even remember her being there. i know she was, but i have no memory of her. its like she was never there, but i have chosen to block that out somehow. its probably for the best. but you're on your way to better peace of mind by talking to someone.

  6. dont worry about that. u dont even have to make a list. councelors are reall;y nice people, they care about what u have to say adn will do everything htey can to help you. its not going to be all serious ANSWER MY QUESTION type, its going to be casual, you guys might play a game together, some cards or checkers or toys even lol, talk about life, schoool work anything in the world. just normal conversations. its going to be okay, she or he is there to comfort you. if you cant think of what to say, tell them and they will understand. try your best though to be open about everything and it will solve alot of your problems faster :)
