I filed a police/accident report for the lameass who hit me last weekend, do I mail it to the secretary of state?

  1. Why would you mail it to the secretary of state? That report is for your own records. And if your insurance needs it... it will be submitted by the PD...


  2. The police report that you picked up at the city hall/town hall is for your own keepsake. The PD involved already processed the correct paper work for you.


  3. that is for your records.  Your insurance Company may want to see it also

  4. Yes, make a copy for yourself and mail the original (orange copy) to the address on the back of the crash report.

  5. That is for your own personal records, and if your insurance company needs it to get your car repaired.
