Serious question. What in the name of heck is a street organizer?

Mello Daze--That's really uncalled for. I hear the guy called street organizer, community organizer. He wants to be President and I want to know what he did. I honestly don't know. I know what Navy Pilot is. I know what Lawyer is. I know what Baseball Team Owner is. I know what Governor of Texas and Arkansas is. I know what actor is. I don't know what a street/community organizer is. Sounds to me like he set up playground basketball games.

Depends on the context, in the one I think you mean a community organizer goes into a community and looks at the communities needs, then tried to create programs to fill those needs, usually educationally oriented.

I think you mean community organizer? Someone who communicates and organizes the community to solve problems like vandalism, gangs, theft/violence, poverty, drugs, cleaning the sidewalks of trash, setting up a playground or community rec center, etc.

A person that helps organize and solve problems within poor neighborhoods.  Helping those that have no political power.
