Serious question about Police officers!!!?

My mom claims that the police keep calling her to check up on her and they are supposedly telling her things that arent true, i think she is lying so i went and checked the caller id on the phone and there are no numbers linked to the police department so i was wondering, when a police calls your house, is it under "private number"? or would the actual number come up?

please help me! its very important.

Set up a recording device with your phone so every conversation will be recorded. Don't let her know though.

Your mom might have a mental problem.  My dad had schizophrenia and one of his symptoms was thinking that 200 police cars were following him around all the time.

The police would never do that. The phone records from the PD can be brought into court if anyone sued them besides, no officer is going to waist there time telling anyones familey who is a dirtbag or not. IF your BF got arrested without merrit, get a lawyer and see what you can do. I cant see the police arresting him without anything but then again I dont know if your BF resisted, treatened etc. Good luck

No cop is going to continually call your mom...She is lying the caller ID alone says that.
