okay i have a serious question, and please dont answer if you can't be nice because this really is important... I have always been a sweet and caring person. I love my friends so much and would do anything for them. I am not easy to anger and usually very easy going... but for the past month I have been such a B**ch. Even my boyfriend has told me that I need to calm down.. I have been ignoring my friends (not responding to texts and calls) and I really just want to stay at home and sleep! I hate being this way and its beginning to ruin my relationships... I've been on the same birth control for about 2 years... do you think I should talk to my doctor about it?? Any suggestions and reasons why I might have suddenly started acting this way??

  1. Symptoms of depression include:

    Trouble sleeping or excessive sleeping

A dramatic change in appetite, often with weight gain or loss

    Fatigue and lack of energy

Feelings of worthlessness, self-hate, and inappropriate guilt

    Extreme difficulty concentrating

    Agitation, restlessness, and irritability

Inactivity and withdrawal from usual activities

    Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness

Sound like you???  In most cases  mild depression only lasts a little while and it could be caused by your birth control.  See you doctor.   And don't over react!

  2. Maybe you're depressed or going through a really stressful time? It's always good to talk to your doctor. At least you are conscious of it, that's good.

  3. if i was you i would ask your doctor about it.

  4. Its probably your birth control. But before you go and talk to your doctor about it think if anythings been bothering you lateley, or if your stressed out about ANYTHING. Because if you talk to yur doctor about, he might want to send you to a therapist and treat you like a nutcase because doctors ALWAYS do that. They jump to  conclusion and make assumptions like there's something mentally wrong with you.. So think twice about that, and try to do alittle self reflection and take control and think about everything you do/say, without forcing anything. If that doesn't work THEN maybe you need to talk to your doc about it.

Hope this helped? :) good luck hun

  5. well this looks like some type of stress issue. if you have been under alot of stress or pressure, that seems like the after effect but talking to your doctor is the BEST option to choose here. good luck :-)
