Imagine that you have a very slow driver in front of you (driving at 15 mph in a 30 mph zone) while driving on a one lane road. You are starting to get impatient and do not know what to do. What do you do to help you relax and prevent you from getting angry at the slow driver in front of you???? Thanks

  1. m********e, vigerously!!!!

  2. Remind yourself of two things:

    1.  studies have shown that people who drive slowly take very little additional time to reach their destination, if that.  They usually spend less time moving and more time at traffic lights, so it evens out.  On the freeway, the faster you drive the sooner you have to slow down, so you don't save much time.

    2.  studies have shown that people who drive slowly are more likely to survive if they are involved in an accident, all other things being equal.

  3. blast the radio if there's not much of a chance I can pass, but geez @ 15 mph just to get to 30 mph is a waste of effort...

most people are in such a big toot to pass they are the 1st ones to turn shortly after causing you to have to slow down for thier retardedness ;)

  4. pull over for one minute'they'll be gone ,you can go back to normal--if you can't wait, start thinking about how to attain a better quality of life by slowing down, metaphorically speaking

  5. Do something to take your mind off of the slow car, listen to the radio or look outside the window and beyond the road.  You might actually see something interesting that you would have missed had you been flying by.

  6. Wait for an opening, then pass him, but while waiting blast my music.

  7. General solution: don't get upset over things you don't have control over. I've mastered this art about 20 years ago, and it does help immensely!
