  1. The Prophet (P.B.U.H.) appointed Sahabi Ali Murtaza (R.A.) as his beloved son-in-law and one gave him as the xample of one of the best men among Islam but the term 'mawla' to which you are refrreing to is often misunderstiood unfortuantely. If you are s**+'aa I understand why you believe this but as a Sunni Alhamdulillah, I can point out that the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) made Sahaabi Abu Bakr Saddique (R.A.)  his first Kaliph and Mashallah made him the Imma after their death, and Sahaabi Umar-E-Farooq (R.A.) was dearly beloved to the Prophet (P.B.U.H.). The Prophet (P.B.U.H.) had said that if there were to be Prophet after them (which there never will be) then it would be Sahaabi Umar-E-Farooq (R.A.) but never once did they say that any one of them was 'mawla' in the sense 'God' beacuse that is shirk and haraam in Islaam . Our 'mawla' is Allah (S.W.T.) and no other.
