Some simple math:

acid + base = neutral

neutral + acid = acidic

neutral + base = basic

your eye = neutral (more or less)

s***n = base

your eye + s***n = basic

IF: your eye ≠ neutral THEN: your eye = PAIN

THUS: your eye + s***n = PAIN

I don't think you can go blind but maybe an infection. Any you put in your eye will burn. Don't do that again.
