Who are you voting for and why?

This is not meant to be disrespectful in any way. I would really like to know. A lot is being said about Barack Obama's influence in the Islamic community, etc. I just want to see what you have to say.

  1. obama rocks! Hope he wins!

  2. Barack Obama. Great man.

Obama is a positive light in all communities.

  3. for me personally it has nothing to do with Obama and his so-called influence.  I personally do not see that he has any great influence over the Muslim-American community.  My thing is that I will not vote Republican.  I would not categorize myself as a true Democrat, rather an independent.  However because of the last 8 years, I would be very hard pressed to ever vote for any Republican candidate.  Bush did too much damage.  So really its not a vote for Obama, but a vote against McCain whom I associate closely with Bush.

  4. Well unfortunately  I wont be able to vote for another 2 years when I turn 18 but I'd definitely vote Obama. Mccain is like Bush jr. and wants to continue all of his failed policies. If he's in office our economy is just going to go further down hill.

  5. It's the thing to express only at the time of voting........

  6. Obama simply cuz he isnt republican like bush and his minion mccain

  7. i will vote the best at the last moment

but i don't like Bush the criminal

  8. Vote can do nothing, any where in the world.

only Queen of UK decides who would be the President.

  9. well this year will be my first time voting. i really didn't want to take part in the years bush was running, i felt if i voted for the wrong person then i was a little blaim for the results of choosing a dummy.,

so i am 22 now and i will be voting inshallah. i am all for obama. i feel he hasn't criticized any muslims. i feel he really want to try to make peace with everyone. and by him visiting all the foreign countries recently shows he wants to make friends with the other countries not try to invade and take them over. bush's sad attempt to visit was just a way to talk them in to reducing oil prices after it is all his fault anyway. i feel obama has said nothing cruel about the others running for president which showed his character. whereas the other runners were constantly making negative ads against eachother. i mean his father ,though not a good onapparentlyly was muslim as well as his step father , so he knows all about islam and how to communicate with muslims. i think he is the best choice. because seriously mccain is just another bush, his voice his ideas everything is a photo copy of bush and voting for him would mean at least 4 more years of h**l in america.
