So i went to the Dominican Republic last week and i got back on the 1st. today it is the 8th. it's been exactly a week since i got back. I have had extreme diarrea since last tuesday. it was an all inclusive resort so i know i didn't drink any of the water. but the food was nasty and i lived off of bread the whole week. why do i still have diarrea?? could it be that i'm not used to the food? i'm soo confused so if you have any answers that might help me please post. also if you know of any home made "medicines" that could mix up that might help, that would be great too!

thanks in advnace and have a wonderful day!

  1. The vegetables might have been waqshed with local water, and often the ice is not made with purified water. And there's the swimming pool.

    Stay hydrated!

And try eating yogurt - the kind with live lactobacillus. Make a fruit smoothy and drink it.  A couple of pints a day might get your tummy back on track.

  2. Even though you did not drink the water you probably picked up some virus that is messing up your stomach.  I would visit you doctor and review because it may take some sort of antibiotic to clear up, but he will be able to advise you.  I hope you feel better soon and get to the doctor right away.
