Serious question-what parent would give any grade other than "A" to their child being home schooled?

Being unschoolers, we don't bother getting grades & our parents don't bother giving them.

When I was homeschooled I didnt just get "A".   The Parents who just give their kids A's are cheating them...

I don't know about most home school families but we don't give grades mostly.  You either get it or you don't.  If I'm teaching my kids and it's obvious they aren't understanding, we continue until they do get an "A" though we don't call it that.  That's why grades aren't as important in home schooling.  Unlike a class of 30, I only have the one and if he/she is having trouble we have the time to keep at a subject until it's fully understood.  Honestly that's one of the main reason's I love to home school.  They can never be "left behind" in a subject.
