tomorrow, i am running the 800/880 in a very competitive track meet. i will be expected to keep a pace that one would run during the 400 (nearly a sprint). when we, in practice, do 400's on the track, i experience such oxygen debt that it hurts. badly. i dont have asthma.
i need to know how to breathe during a near-full-out sprint for an entire half mile. any other tips on running the 800 would be greatly appreciated.
