i am entering seventh grade and last year i was so streesed out because i had so many projects and homework because i was in all GT classes (2 grade levels ahead) and i got all A's in them but now my teachers think that i shouldn't do any because they don't recomend it! and now i am so mad because i worked so hard and i don't want to do the same stuff this year again and i want to be with my friends but my parents think i shouldn't. i have been doing nothing for the past few days but cry about it in my room and no matter what i do I can't get my mind off of it. Can anyone help me convince them to put me back into those classes?

  1. dude middle school doesn't even matter, like even a lil bit. I blew off middle school, never did my homework, only my As on my tests allowed me to get a 3.0 average at that time. But then as soon as I started highschool I started to try, and now I'm going off to college with 50 college credits from highschool. (and no I'm not that ****** that self-studied for AP tests and classes or took summer school at all to get it, i didnt even test out of anything in fact besides gym). So ya just tell your parents you will try once you start highschool like i did.

  2. Hmm maybe write out an essay saying the postive outcome of having these classes. It seems very professional to do that and give it to your parents and teachers. Also you can do a lecture of how this will help you get ahead in life and do better things and your just trying to accomplish that. One risky deal could be saying that you'll do even better than last year on that test or so but its risky cause if you don't then don 't expect the next year that they'll let you take those classes.

  3. teachers can recommend you but you don't have to go to those classes

and tell your parents that its to much for you

they'll understand... they were teenagers too

    hope this helps a lil:)

  4. i did the same thing through middle school and now that I'm about to be a senior i am gratefull for it. i got three credits trasfered over to high school from middle school so now this year dont really matter since i only need to 2 credits to graduate. so i get to enjoy my last year of high school with friends and not worry about class since i only got 3 core classes( i chose to take ap physics) and the rest are electives. so its worth it at the end and if it gets to be to much you can always copy a friends work in a desperate situation just dont make it a habit

  5. They should put you in the classes that you want to do because you will do better in them then you being in a class that you don't want to be in because you would be stressing out about how you don't like that class!

Good Luck I hope this helped!
