Seriously, is there any current MLB player with more class than Derek Jeter?

I watched him catch Cora Rizzuto's "first pitch" at Yankees Old Timer's day, then go up to the wives of Elston Howard, Billy Martin, Catfish Hunter and Thurman Munson and give each a heartfelt hug and kiss. The Yankee Captain is a consumate gentleman and a great role model. Agreed?

I personally think joe mauer is a very classy player. I go to alot of twins games and ive never seen him argue a call or complain about anything and if an umpire gets hit while he is catching he goes out there to talk to the pitcher to give the umpire a little time to recover. i think most of the twins players are very classy. but jeter is too good question

In the Old Timer's game Jeter did what any ball player would do.

I don't like the Yankees at all, but I've always respected Jeter. He's a class act and a great clutch performer (although overrated defensively during the regular season.)

I'm a big Yankees fan and a huge Jeter fan. But I'm not gonna get into some pissing contest about who's classier that who. I will say that Jeter is as savvy and as classy as they come among professional athletes. He's a great ambassador for baseball and the New York Yankees. There are few players I'd choose to represent the best of baseball than him.

Anyone who suggests Jeter isn't a classy guy is a Yankee hater who'd never give the Yankees credit for anything in the first place.

I wouldn't even say he's the classiest player on his team.  No offense to Jeter, because he is obviously a class act, but Mariano Rivera is the definition of a professional in my opinion.

Few. After all the steroids and bad behavior and all that, I'm amazed at how many people put him down. Some people just wanna be babies and complain, I guess. Alex Rodriguez is pretty good, too. Just ask the kid in Boston whose life he saved.
