Not everyone is gifted when it comes to math or English. Some people just cant seem to spell correctly and some people are not good at word problems. But that's why they have spell check and calculators. Feel special that you are smart, but dont put others down bc they are not. It doesn't mean they are less then you are, it just means they are better at something else you may not be that great at... like art or sports. Everyone has a special quality to them.

ok first off, i do know the difference. anyway, some people just don't comprehend that kinda stuff. the who grammer thing with nouns, pronouns, verbs and stuff, i never got. I always closed my eyes and guessed. Now i did do fairly well with paper writing and sentence structure because i just know what sounds right, but other stuff just didn't click. Some people are better at math than english, i am. It just depends on the personality type you are and what side of the brain we use. Those words all sound the same when you say them out loud, most people don't write or read after high school, so all of that learned behavior kinda goes away.
