Seriously,why are Americans (especially retirees) flocking to Latin America ?

  3. Because it's gorgeous and beautiful and so much cheaper than America, those retirement funds go a long way.  And, people are going to flock more and more out of this commercialized plastic wasteland we are creating for ourselves.

  5. Mainly because of the financial aspects.  You can live a lot better on the average pension/social security benefit in a Latin American country than you can here in the USA.

  7. great weather, sunny there all the time. and so they dont have to go any where on vacation. they are already at the "The" vacation spot. thaey are alreay in paradise.

  9. I moved from the U.S.A. about 25 years ago to the Bay Islands of Honduras. Beautiful islands and where in the world could have I purchased acreage on the oceanfront with a sandy beach for a very low price. I'm not sorry for the move.
