Seriously,why do so many people like twilight (book)?

i dont get it,its a stupid love story.girl meets vampire,vampire dont like her,vampire get to know and so on and then he sexes her to hard and gives her bruises and she becomes a s*x addict with a demonish baby...i mean jesus christ.........what kind of a plot is that1!?!?!?

Maybe since you're a guy, the Twilight addiction syndrome doesn't affect you. No, I'm kidding. It just depends on what kinda person you are, your interests, and your own personal opinions. its called romance ....the book  is a love story its like forbidin love a noramal girl and a vampire the book is also very well written wats not to love about it ..it is the BEST book ever , u should read it ,but u probolie still wouldnt understand ur a guy so ur just gonna think its a stupid book ,

It's the second coming of Anne Rice. There is a new generation now, too young to know about Rice, so Twilight and the author's other books fill in that space.

People are like sheep. They do what they think others are doing. Twilight had an incredible marketing campaign, the likes of which you rarely see today.

The same sort of thing is going on today with Obama.

Actually, I'm not that sure why it became so popular. I am a big Twilight fan, but I also believe it is poorly written. Of course, not many of these people know a good book when they see it, but I do think the story is very interesting, it could have been so much better though.

Ok firstly have you read the book? Because the way Twilight is written, it relies more on emotions, descriptions, relationships and feelings it protrays not the plot.

And like other people are saying the twilight is written from a girl's perspective that means the twilight saga is through woman's eyes. And some men may not essentially understand it.
