Seriously I totally want to know.. how do I achieve this hair style?

I have carser natrualyl curlly hair but I am always willing to take the time in the morning and style my hair so how do I get this: http://fashiondevo.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/wavy1.jpg

do I straighten my hair and then curly it or what? please in detail tell me how I'd go about doing this

if you take a shower...try lightly towel drying, but then still wet..put some foam mousse in it and then just scrunch it up with you hands. that usually works for me :]

That style is using a big curling iron and a setting spray to keep the curls in there all day.

The curls are posted up and down instead of horizontal. This will give that pieced out look once you are done.

It looks to me like she has it layered with a length to the jaw line & maybe she has a a simple body wave perm.

ok well first of if you have curly ahir yes your going to have to straighten it than get a skinny curling iron and do very loose curls. before you curl it put some moose or gel all threw your hair.
