For many Europeans, South Americans and Asians, Canadians and Americans are just "the same". How do you react to that?

  1. Seriously. What´s your reaction when you travel to USA, to NY, and being from Spain, Americans ask you if Spain is near Japan and if you had ever seen a washing-machine? I´m totally serious, this happened to me ten years ago. Most of Americans, in my experience, thought Spain is in South America. How would you feel in that case? Ignorance is daring, we say in Spain. And ignorance and daring are everywhere. I prefer to stay silent when I´m not sure about something. But for sure, not everybody does so.

  2. some of americans wear a Canadian flag on their clothes or bag so people wont know they are American,i find that amusing

  3. Well, I am American, so I try to not be too insulted...but that's why I wear my "I Love Canada" shirt when I travel.
