Seriously can anyone tell me how afl is called football.?

the fans hate these new rules that the AFL are bringing in to weaken the game. In 2004 when hawthorn had a HUGE blood bath against the bombers fans loved it! footy should be tough but the idea is its maximum scoring and speed. High scoring unlike soccer & rugby. High speed unlike soccer and rugby.

I completley agree and i have this argument with so many people.. being I'm a melbourne girl i usually just give in and say well, think what u want!! But they just run around, hand balling the ball to each other, they call it 'aussie football' yet they rarely use there feet unless actually kicking a goal.. I hate the sport and u have got me started now... lol

AFL is the only football code where the maximum points can only be scored if the ball hits the foot prior to going over the scoring line.

To prove this:

1. in soccer you can get the maximum point by heading the ball into the goal,

2. in rugby and rugby league the maximum points can ONLY be scored if place the ball with your HANDS and not your FOOT over the try line and,

3. in American football you can only get maximum points if you catch or carry the ball over the goal line.  

Thus the only REAL FOOTBALL is Australian Rules

because alot of it is using your foot to pass the ball, where in rugby you mostly use hands to pass the ball. afl is a mans sport, you nrl idiots get your head out of your ****.
