Seriously needed Swimming training help?

Im 14 and have just begun swimming after 4 years.

are their any special things i can do outside of the pool to help me be more prepared for my 1 hour long lessons?

  1. yes you can do conditioning you can run and control you breathing so when your in the water you cand have more air in your lungs so you dont have to come up as often and you can also do leg and arm stretches alot because it will help alot so you dont get cramps while swimming


  2. push ups, squats, lunges, crunches, running just the basics help a lot.  dont forget to stretch

  3. I have been competitively swimming for about 12 years now, and I know one thing that has always helped me with my training is working on core abdominal strength and flexibility. I do a ton of ab work which really helps with swimming since all your power comes from your core. Also do a lot of stretching, not just your arms and legs, but also your back and stomach. The other thing I do religiously is shoulder exercises with bands, the stronger your shoulders are the better off you are.

  4. make sure u strech nd really work on ur core nd flexibility they r really inmportant  plus u can do strech cords  they r gud 4 ur shoulders
