Why do some people insist on calling the American Civil War "The War of Northern Agression"? It is extremely biased (history should be objective), and it is historically inaccurate. It is also a little bit racist by implying sympathy for the Confederate States of America.

Not only that, but using that name is probably the most redneck thing you could possibly do!

  1. you are partly true, howevr, the real issue was states rights. When the Southern states signed the constitution they were told they could continue slavery, however, when the North wanted to end slavery they violated their end of the contract so the South believed tehy were allowed to leave the Union.
