...........How many here are just tired of this whole IPL thing? I understand players wanna make money, but don’t we have enough of IPL going on in media as it is that it’s now ‘almost’ all over YA cricket as well!!

Please send the players back to their respective squads soon so they can play against other teams…..I want my good ol’ pure cricket back….!

BTW, anyone knows what’s up with Adarsh? The boy used to post ‘cute’ things… :)

  1. in the actual sporting side of it its too much

but it's something new fun and exciting to brighten up our lives its not everyday u see people from opposite teams combine and hug thier enamies after getting thier friends out

and its not everyday we see s**y SRK sreaming his lungs out on the camera

and i get to see SRK 2 seconds more in the sport section of news

  2. ipl is not boring .it is entertaining

  3. The league has just began !! Its the most happening thing after the World Cup in India. Cricket in India is like a religion and we got to support our respective teams and our most loved players in India !!!

  4. I aren't tired, the fun has only begun!!

  5. Don't worry, 44 days will pass by soon, and many players will leave before that to play in international matches (e.g. Australia vs. West Indies) or in the English counties (I think).

BTW, where in India do you live. I was in Mumbai last December on a study tour.

  6. I agree with you. please give us back our old cricket.

it Will be more fun if they play against countries.

well i think they are dividing Indian cricket fans and backing up their region's or their fave celeb's team instead of INDIA.

T20 against a country is much more interesting to watch.

  7. IPL is superb dear! I don't know why u find it boring?

EDIT:- Dekh yaar IPL ke bina toh main bore ho jaati! Agar mujhse poocha jaye toh, i would really like to watch IPL matches 24X7!

  8. ur tired now?????

abhi toh puri picture baki hai mere dost

  9. hey its the first time something like this is happening here, right.

and it started so big! ipl is a big success and will be here for years, but the hype they r giving is a bit unnecessary, and i think it will die out soon.

anyway we need some thing like this in cricket too right??

like epl or CL in soccer.

and i wonder why u want that "good old pure cricket" back??

i dont think that it has gone anywhere, did it???

  10. in football beckam once famous playing for MANCHESTER UNITEd and not for england....so lets do things good like IPL and all .so if u dnt like beter dont watch ths it...dnt blame or ask any players to return.........alll players atre like good friends and team now ........... I Love watching Hayden pulling and playing with Dhoni when he was getting MAN OF THE MATCH on 23rd  april 2008 at chennai against Mumbai. Wow man this IPL ROCKs 4 sure.........

  11. I can't get tired of the action on the field - getting together the world best crickets and piting them against one another. However, the action off the field is just money, money, money and that problem alone does go a big way to putting me off it. I think we should cut back on questions about it, that does get boring. But, we should not get rid of them totally; when I asked a similar question I was reminded how much better IPL questions are that the c**p we had a few months ago about the India - Australia sledging saga.

  12. I catch snippets on the news but avoid reading it on the cricket websites. I think the novelty will wear off. Too much cricket in too little time the matches played already drift away, there is nothing to capture the imagination it's like a fast food multinational cricket fare.

  13. No, the whole country is now crazy about IPL, and now, IPL is the order of the day. Y!A cricket section is now full of IPL questions, but still, I am able to enjoy myself, as I am supporting my team-Kolkata Knight Riders. But, I would surely like to have the good old cricket back, like you. But I can't get that back now, so, I am making the best of what I have instead of grieving over those things which I can't. That's life, and we have to accept it.

By the way, Adarsh is still here, and that boy is still posting "cute things" The only unfortunate thing is that his questions aren't getting displayed as open questions. But he is still answering the questions. You may be able to find him. Good Luck.

  14. It's Cak

  15. It is just the mood of India being reflected.

It is a bit tiring to have to read the same Q, agree, but best go with the swing. You may otherwise sound like a wet sponge to them.
