Served two tours in Okinawa (USMC)and love Yakisoba. Any one know where I can get the original noodles for it?

I need someone to help me find Yakisoba noodles and all the ingredients to make it. It is extremely difficult to find everything that is needed here in the United States. In return, I will help the person who helps me to find any items from America such as name brand jeans, shoes, etc.. equal in value or just simply send them the cash to pay for the items I need plus any shipping. You can find all the fixings you need at any large asian grocery store.  The soup comes in dried mix packets.  Just add water.  The noodles are harder since they need to be fresh or refrigerated.

If there aren't any asian groceries close to you, have you tried the commissary?  They usually have a small, but pretty wide selection of ethnic foods.

In California it is sold in the refrigerated asian section at almost all supermarkets - fresh noodles with a seasoning packet.  Add your own veggies, meat, etc.  Look near the hot dogs, cheeses, etc.

did the yakisoba taste more like ketchup or worcestershire? because okinawa has a different way of making yakisoba than other parts of japan, and depending on the taste the ingredients will differ (duh... but i threw it in there just in case haha)

also, where do you live? i know a ton of asian supermarkets that sells all the ingredients =)
