Server Djeparov confident of making it to the World Cup finals in Brazil - Asia News
Uzbekistan midfielder, Server Djeparov, has revealed that Uzbekistan could qualify for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil. He also termed this team as the best Uzbek team in the country’s history and was confident of making it to the showcase event in Brazil.
Having received the 2011 Asian Player of the Year award, Djeparov opined that Uzbekistan could easily manage to qualify for the World Cup after unsuccessful attempts on the previous two occasions.

leading the country into the World Cup.
Djeparov, at the same time, urged his teammates to make best use of the current scenario and give more than one hundred percent in order to accomplish the mission this time around.
While talking to Fifa.com, the 29-year-old further elaborated:

and talented youngsters. In one word, we can fulfil the World Cup mission this time."
"We failed at the final hurdle on the road to the last World Cups so I think we won't miss it for the third consecutive time. We have proved we are capable of the task and we must now realise it." The midfielder added.
Meanwhile, the player reserved praise for his teammates and officials for supporting him throughout his career and enabling him to win the Asian Player of the Year award on two occasions.
He also applauded the fans who have been supportive throughout his Uzbek career, encouraging them to continue supporting their team if they want to see them playing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 in 2014.
Djeparov has 80 international caps under his belt for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uzbekistan-c3037 until now since making debut in 2002. He has scored 17 goals during the process.
