Service for resturants??

does McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendy's do serivce??? Home work please help!!

Not in the conventional sense, as an ordinary "sit-down" restaurant would.

A notable exception would be Carl's Jr., which DOES have people bring food to your table, and they even ask you if you need anything else for your order, (try looking for that at McDonalds, Jack in the Box, or any other fast-food outlet)!

"service" is a broad term. They don't do as much as full service restaurants, but yes there is some degree of service. They take and give you your order, they pour drinks for you, they may bring food to your table or out to our car. Also they sweep floors and wipe tables for you.

While they do not wait on you at a table like a server would, yes they do service because anytime you are dealing with the public you are giving them a service.  Say your hamburger has pickles on it and you asked for them to not put any on, so you go back up to the front and ask to speak to someone to get this fixed, that person is giving you customer service to make sure they don't lose you as a customer!!  Hope this helps!
