Just visit Tim Horton (west broadway) twice and was serviced by the same young girl. First time I order buns and soup, and she just dump the bun in the bag and throw the bag on the counter and did not say anything. I ask her what soup is that (cuz there's 2 other person waiting for their order) she just say "Buns and soup" in a very low and inpolite tone. The 2nd time I order a Vanilla Cappuccino, she put the coffee on the counter and just walk away, she dont even care or say that's a vanilla cappucinno even there is a few customer waiting, I have to ask the other customer if they order coffee. I just want to know, is it becuz Tim Horton a big company so they can let their staff work with such an attitute???

  1. I get very annoyed by poor customer service because I go out of my way to be polite and friendly to the person serving me so when all they can do is grunt in return it really insults me. The best thing you can do is send a letter of complaint to management. State the date and time of the incident.  In most cases they are unaware of the poor service being given until customers speak up!  There are two Tim Hortons within walking distance of my office. One has impeccable service and the other I just don't go to anymore because the last time I was there I literally waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged.   Customer service just isn't what it used to be and we consumers have to take it back! We shouldn't be made to feel like second class citizens when buying something!

  2. she might be so tired... or had a bad day

  3. Maybe she was having a bad day.  You should ask to speak to the manager.  They might not be aware that she's giving bad service like this.

  4. That was me...

  5. That's happening all around at establishments like Tim Hortons. It used to be they would say thank you to me when I went through the drive through to get my coffee... now I say thank you and they say nothing.

Everybody seems to be struggling to get good staff and when you're desperate for employees, you let them get away with a lot more. When times are not as good, I bet we'll be seeing more employees going that extra bit to keep their jobs.
