Jharkhand are on the verge of securing victory against Services in their Ranji Trophy, Group C, four-day match being played at Palam A Ground, Model Sports Complex, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780.
With a day left, Jharkhand require another 183 runs and have ten wickets in hand, ending the third day of play in a commanding position.
After bowling-out Services for 185 in their first innings, Jharkhand had a disappointing first innings as they faltered after posting only 120 runs.
In this innings, Services’ S Yadav was remarkable, as he destroyed his opponents with his six-wicket haul.
Services then ended the second day of play with 32 runs on the board for the loss of two wickets.
Aiming to subdue their opponents, AH Gupta and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nishan-Singh-c79701 resumed play on the third day and took the score to 45, before the pair was separated by Yadav, who trapped Gupta in front of stumps with the batsman on ten runs.
Singh was then joined by Penta Rao, as the two batsmen led their side towards 65 runs, before Singh had his stumps pulverised by Nadeem after jabbing a knock of ten runs off 62 deliveries.
Penta Rao was next, as he was dismissed by Yadav with only 18 runs off his bat.
With the set batsmen back in the pavilion, Yadav struck again by dismissing RS Paliwal, who faltered after scoring only four runs.  At the time of his dismissal, Services were struggling with 69 runs on the board.

Just when things seemed like heading for the worst, Sarabjit Singh and A Sinha crafted an intimidating partnership, taking the score to 111.
However, this partnership was interrupted by Nadeem, who struck timber behind Sarabjit Singh to send the batsman back with 12 runs to his name.
Later, with A Sinha unbeaten on 47, Services faltered after posting 152 runs on the board, giving Jharkhand a target of 218 to win.
