Serving candy at reception question...

Question

We're putting M&M's in bowls on our reception tables. We wanted to wrap them individually, but don't have enough for everyone attending. Anyway, I have the small bowls, but I need small scoops or spoons so that people don't put their fingers in the bowl. I've looked at a party story, Michael's and at Walmart with no luck. Do you know where I can find some small inexpensive scoops?

Maybe try a pet store or a feed store. Sounds terrible I know, but I have horses and they have a variety of scoops at our local feed store. Maybe a baking shop might have a variety too, you know different scoops for flou, sugar etc... Or, you could use something like a shot glass. We have shot glasses that are mini beer mugs with handles....just trying to think outside the box. You may have something like the shot glasses I mentioned at home already, you could use.

I would look at housewares and kitchen stores. I found one at Crate and Barrel for three bucks:

What about Target? Try looking for coffee scoops at coffee specialty stores. They might have some.

Also, worst case scenario, you just use large soup spoons or something. No one will care,as they as they get their candy :)
