Serving custody papers?

My boyfriends BM lives in Oregon and we have to serve her with custody papers. how do we go about doing that without having to go to oregon ourselves to serve her?

in the mail. but im not sure what "custody papers" are, those typically come by a court order delivered by a judge or lawyer in court or shortly afterward.

you have 2 get a process server in the area where he lives, mail it to them with payment. they will server him & send you the confirmation.
