  1. I serve whoever I feel like. I don't care who or what you are, as long as your close to me I'm going to ask you first.

  2. It's a tradition that needs to be stopped

    women power!

  3. in my household the children always get served first

  4. It depends on the situation. In some settings, the people who prepared the food serve it - so if the women cooked, the women serve the men first, then themselves.

In a formal setting, women are served first except for the wine. The person (usually a man) who ordered the wine gets a tasting sip before anyone else is served.

  5. As far as I know, serving men first is a cultural norm in some countries.  In the US, it is usually ladies first.

  6. Honestly I don't think I would notice the difference.  I've never once been offended when someone else got served before me.  Do people really care about things like this?

  7. The people who are closest to me get served first.  I then work around the table. (like serving drinks or food)

  8. Are you Amish?

  9. I thought tradition was women before men.  However, I wouldn't really care myself just as long as I get my service (and food).

  10. yup. it's women first. next time you go to a fancy restaurant, take notice. the waiter should ask for all the orders from the women first and then the men. and the food should be served the same way.
