Question:

Servo care (R/C servo)?

Hello,

Am I allowed to change the servo position of the servo arms with the battery disconnected?

To fix the zero when the trim is almost maxed out.

Or is this bad for the servo? Is there any do's and don'ts for servo's?

Thanks

  1. yes, first remove the servo horn, set the trim to 0 and turn the battery on to center the servo, now you can put the servo horn back on, making sure you get it as close to certer as possible,

having the trims maxed out all the time will cause strain on your servo and that can shorten its life
