Sesame Place In Philadelphia, A Few Questions?

We are going to Sesame Place with our neighbors. We have 6 kids at home and they have 3. We would take our 15 passenger van, to fit all of us. Anyways, my questions...

1. Should we leave our 4 month old triplets with a family member? We will be gone 3 - 4 days ,we are not sure yet. I want them to come, but I also don't want to harm them. It will probably be very hot when we go.

2. Are there any buildings with AC that we could go in if the babies do come?

3. Are there places to purchase food or should we bring all of our own?

4. Is there anything for a 14 year old and a 13 year old? They know this is meant for smaller children, but we don't want them to be completely bored. Are any of the dry/water rides fun for this age?

5. Are you allowed to bring in drinks and snacks?

6. Anyone know a hotel that would accommodate us all? We could get a few rooms if needed.

I agree with some of the others the trip will never register with them and it will be a very long day for who ever has to stay behind with them I would find someone competent to stay at home with them and then you have piece of mind.

1. I would keep them at home, as it will be hard with them.  As they will not be able to go on the rides so someone will have to stay back.  And that can be hard when you already have 6 others to look after.  

2. But there are buildings with AC

3.  There are places to purchase food. And I recommend the Breakfast with Elmo.

4. I am not sure what there is for them, but I am sure they will find something to do.  There is a water park, and a bigger roller coaster.  I am sure they will have fun!

5.  You are allowed to bring in a small soft sided cooler.  But only with snacks, and some drinks.

6.  As for hotels, there are places around.  I would just call to see what they have available, and prices.  I would also check out priceline or whatever.

i wouldnt bring the babys u wont be able to have any fun and the other children wont be able to have fun.. there are places to buy food plenty!

and i went there when i was 12 or 13 and i had a blast theres a water park and rides and such.. i dont kno about a hotel though sorry

I live 10 minutes from Sesame Place, which is actually in Langhorne, not Philadelphia (it's about 30-45 minutes from Philly)

1. Since the 4 month olds are too young for the rides, you may be better to leave them home.  You may need to go on rides with your kids.  So you may have to take turns watching the babies and going on rides, which can take a lot of your time.

2.  Really can't remember, but I am pretty sure there are...

3. Yes, you can buy food in Sesame Place.  There are also plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area by Sesame Place, as well as Oxford Valley Mall, which has a food court.

4. While the rides are more for younger children, there is no reason 13 and 14 year olds can't enjoy them too!  And the mall is literally walking distance from Sesame Place, so if they are bored there, they can hang out at the mall!

5. Yes, you can bring food into Sesame Place

6. There are a few hotels nearby on Oxford Valley Road - Sheraton, Red Roof Inn, etc.

I don't know how many kids you are bringing but sesame place is crowded and dirty.  I have been there 2 times and was not happy with the type of people the place attracted.
