Question:

Set in stain on brown shirts?

I recently bought a brown shirt and was extra careful not to stain it, after I washed it I found a set in orange stain the kind that happens when bleach hits a brown cloth. Another family member had the same problem before and their brown shirt was also ruined from a set in orange stain. Their were no stains on it until we washed the clothes. What I want to know is what's causing this? I don't want another brown shirt ruined. And can I get this stain out? We use gain and tide detergent.

  1. if you had washed whites before and then the brown shirt it could explain it. Also if you wash you should start filling the machine a bit and then let the detergent dissolve and then add your clothes. Sometimes if a clump of detergent build it will leave a stain or remove the color. Sadly your new shirt is ruined

  2. Your best bet is too get a brown dye to match the color, chances are its a patterned shirt, so its a case if YOU cant get the stain out its only ganna come out with a dye wash. You willing 4 that?

P.S I know how ya feel, but it might come good after the dye wash, mine did
