Setanta freeview box

Question

well I bought one of the setanta freeview boxes quite a while ago and I am deciding to activate it now. I'v done that like an hour ago and I was just wondering how long it takes for it to activate or is there something I need to do to ensure it activates correctly???

have you actually activated the card? is the card pushed in far enough, try it, take it out and push back in, the right way round obviously lol, if no joy phone them up and tell them its not activated yet, and they will re-send the signal, it should be straight away it works.

First check have you installed the dish in the right direction ie at the correct degree that is mentioned and if that is yes then check the connections and  check how to download the channels on the manual and if still the problem persists then I should say you call the service people.
