My boyfriend recently found his MASSIVE hockey card collection and wants to sell them on ebay, there are a ton of them, so i was wondering if it would be better to put them in a store, or list them one by one... and how would i go about starting a store?

  1. Sports cards are best sold at auction rather than in a store, because frankly your average hockey card buyer is a k**b and doesn't know when to stop bidding.  Take advantage of their lack of judgment.

Listing one by one is good for the cards that are in high demand.  In fact fr those, you might even consider getting them graded before selling them to increase the price.

The ones that aren't worth much should be grouped together by team and sold as a lot.

  2. I would go with the STORE option because you can list the items for 3 cents a piece for 30 days.  If you go with an auction, it would be at least 35 cents depending on your starting bid.

To get a store just click on the links in ebay to get it started.  The basic store costs $16.00 a month, then you add any and all the 3 cent listings.

The cheaper route is the store as I explained.  Plus, the fact that once you have it listed you can put the option "Until I cancel" which means ebay will keep listing the item every 30 days until it sells or until you cancel it off ebay.  So, there is literally no more work involved.
