  1. find out the ip of the config page. You will then have to access this and create a wep or wpa key (WPA is more secure but less compatible)

If still stuck look on the website or something. Hope i've helped

  2. Data Recovery-

  3. You would have to create this password by configuring the router. You would need to log in to the router to set up the password (encryption key).

I believe the defualt log on name is "admin" or "administrator" & the default password is "admin"

  4. In the box with the router it should of had a piece of paper that gave you the steps to do it.  If you do find it, keep in mind that when try and connect, you would go in to the properties of the router and go to security.  You will have to pick out the type of the security that your using plus the password.  It should keep you connected to it.

If you didn't get a piece of paper, do one of three things:

    1. Do a google search of the exact router name and that you want to put security.  Something like "security for 3com router" or ''how to set up security for 3com router.''

    2. Contact the manufactures of the router.  They have websites on the box along with numbers.  Might have the website of where to get security from.

    3. Email me with the exact name of the router and I'll see if I can find where to get the name of the website to get you security.

    Hope this helps,
