I have an LG VU, and unfortunately my carrier is Rogers...and they lock their phones so they wont let you just download your own ringtones. So does anyone know how to get around this problem? My friend said that if i set the file as 'awb' instead of 'mp3' or 'wav' it would work...but it doesnt work for me.. And please don't suggest any of those sites which say you can get free ringtones by inputting your cell number...cuz i dont trust them.

is the only site that works for Rogers. I know, because I have 2 Rogers phones. Just sign up on their site, read the instructions carefully and you'll get it to work. Before sending it to your phone they will ask you if you have Rogers.
