  1. to insure proper fitting, you best bet is to go to a professonal, ski shop or visit the mountain shop of your choice, insurung proper fitting means they fit them according to your boots, foot size, the type of skier you are ability wise and also according to your weight, if they arent adjusted just right they will either come off to easily when you fall, or not at all, both senerios are not good, seek the pros, and have fun

  2. Take your skiis and your boots to a professional ski shop, have them adjust the bindings to their proper setting. The DIN settings are calculated to allow your boot to be secure in the binding system and to release before the leg or knee is injured when a twisting fall happens.  The minuscule charge from the shop to make these adjustments is very slight when compared to the cost of a leg fracture and hospitalization.  Hope this helps.

  3. Go to a pro.

  4. If you are asking that generic of a question I am guessing you need professional help. Talk to a tuner and they will ask you about your ability and take into account your height and weight, and set the proper DIN, bring the boots you plan to wear and they will set the binding to the right length as well.. You will probably have to leave the skis overnight or for a few days depending on how busy they are.

  5. I just bought a couple of pairs of skis for my wife and I and let me tell you, take them to a pro.  I was able to get the bindings on and at the correct size with little to no problems by following the instructions, but when it came to the DIN setting, I had no idea what to set it at.  I took it to a pro shop and they had them both done in under 2 hours and it cost me $30.  Knowing that the skis will release when they are supposed to is money well spent if you ask me.
