Setting help please?

Question

I need to invent a small town for my story.

I would prefer it to be one word and sound like a remote place.

It is set in America and for YA hopefully, depending on the plot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Treblinka (a city in Romania)

Addermore

Ocna Vulcişnov (fictional city used in novel, Blood Prophecy)

Verhalen

Shikoku (smallest of Japan's main islands)

Westerville

Palawan (an island in the Philippines)

I kinda need information about where you want the town to be.

If you wanted to be a real town i suggust finding a state and then finding a map of the state and then just picking one that sounds cool looking.

If you want it to be a fake town, i'm not sure what advice to give you. I would think about it and write down anything that sounds cool until you find one you like,
